Waiver & Release
I hereby waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for the death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my child whom I am registering that may result from participation in the Ironwood Crossing Sports Club. I also hold harmless anyone within the Ironwood Crossing Sports Club, Ironwood Crossing HOA, Legacy Elementary School and J.O. Combs Unified School District, club organizer Lesley Wright and Alli Lawrence, any coach, any parent and any other player from any class suit or expense relating to or arising from participation in this league. I understand that this club is a play at your own risk neighborhood league and by registering my child[ren] I agree to abide by that rule. I also acknowledge that there will be $20 refund before season starts and no refunds after season starts if we chose to withdraw our child.
Code of Conduct
As per the requirements of using an Ironwood Crossings Park, all participants/ attendees must
obey the following standards:
• Must conduct themselves in a proper and socially acceptable manner.
• Exhibit behavior that supports the health, safety, and well-being of others.
• Provide a drug free environment.
• Refrain from the use of profanity or offensive language and ethnic slurs.
• Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances whether city, state, or local.
• Abstain from any type of conduct intended to humiliate or intimidate others.
If a person finds someone else not obeying the standards listed, please contact Lesley Wright or Alli Lawrence via e-mail at icsportsclub@gmail.com or come speak with them directly in person at the park on game day. They will mediate the dispute immediately. If the dispute is not able to be handled by them, they will involve the Ironwood Crossing HOA for support.
If one is found to be breaking these standards:
1. The first offense will result in a verbal warning.
2. The second offense will result in the person needing to leave the park for the remainder
of the day.
3. The third offense will result in the person no longer being invited to the park for the
remainder of the season.
COVID-19
I understand that if my child[ren] or anyone else coming to the games must be fever free for 24 hours. If we show any signs of COVID-19 we will stay home. If myself or any of my family attending the game have been directly exposed to COVID-19 we will not return to games/practices for 14 days and there will be no reimbursement for the time missed.I understand that if we feel we need to wear a mask we may do so but it is not required. I also am aware that social distancing is recommended but not required. I understand the Ironwood Crossing Sports Club will run the league as they have in the past and there will not be markings on the grass or sidewalks indicating 6ft apart. I acknowledge that if my child[ren], I or anyone else coming to the game extract the COVID virus we will not hold Ironwood Crossing Sports Club, Lesley Wright, Alli Lawrence or the Ironwood Crossing HOA accountable.
